My printer wont even come on.  I get an immediate error code.  I've only used the printer a couple of times.

Hey @terrance1221,

Welcome to the HP Support Forums!

I see that you're getting the error code: 0xc4eb827f on the front panel of your HP Officejet 4630 e-All-in-One Printer. I'd like to assist you today with resolving this error. The failure itself may be within the print system in your printer. Due to the error state there is only one support step that we can attempt, which is a Reset. Can you please follow the steps below.

  • Reset the Printer:
  1. Without turning off the printer, disconnect the USB cable from the rear of the printer.
  2. Remove the ink cartridges from the printer. *
  3. Wait until a message to insert the ink cartridges displays. If you do not see a message within a few minutes, skip to step 4 to disconnect the power cord.
  4. Disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer.
  5. Wait 60 seconds.
  6. Reconnect the power cord. If the printer does not automatically turn on, press the Power button.
  7. Reinsert the ink cartridges, and then close any open doors on the printer.
  8. If you receive a prompt to print a calibration page, do so.
  9. If you disconnected the USB cable, reconnect it to the rear of the printer.
  10. Try to print.

Should the 0x error code remain, I suggest that you give our Technical Support queue a call to explore hardware replacement options. HP Technical Support can be reached at: [edited]. This is the North America support number. If you are located elsewhere please let me know and I'll get you the correct number.
